Rich Services and Partnerships

First Place for Youth offers housing, employment, education and case-management supports to youth ages 18-25 through the My First Place™ program and delivers the county’s Independent Living Skills program provides services for youth ages 16-22. More than 98% of youth served in San Francisco are Black, Indigenous or people of color with less than two percent identifying as white.  And in 2022, about 13% were parenting youth. 

In addition to the My First Place™ and ILSP programs, First Place partners with a variety of other providers and with city and county agencies to deliver services to transition-age youth who have been homeless, and in the foster care and juvenile justice systems.
