Our Alameda County hosts our headquarters and our signature My First Place™ program. Located downtown, it offers space for youth, staff, and volunteers. In Alameda County, we partner with other youth-serving providers and deliver services at several supportive housing sites.

In 2018, we began the Building Bridges partnership with the Oakland Housing Authority which offers rent subsidies to Alameda County youth through their 27th birthday. Most recently, in 2022, alumni from our My First Place™ program successfully advocated for an Alameda County Guaranteed Income pilot program for foster youth ages 18-21.
