As the Director of Human Resources at First Place for Youth, Sangeeta leads the organization’s HR operations with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive employee experience. With extensive years of experience in human resources, Sangeeta is passionate about developing and implementing policies that support both the organization’s mission and the well-being of its employees.

At First Place for Youth, Sangeeta oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits and the overall employee experience from entry to exit. She is committed to fostering an environment where staff are empowered to grow and succeed, and where diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of all HR practices.

Before joining First Place for Youth, Sangeeta held various HR roles in the corporate sector where she specialized in talent acquisition and HR generalist responsibilities. She was also an entrepreneur of her own vending business. Sangeeta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from India.

In addition to her professional work, Sangeeta is an advocate for community building efforts and actively participates in volunteer opportunities with various organizations across the bay area.
