David Kellis is a seasoned communications and social impact leader with experience at Kimberly-Clark, Clorox and Pinterest, and top global public relations agencies.
At Kimberly-Clark, he served in the role of Global Head of External Communications and Impact In this role, he developed the communications strategy for the enterprise and the company’s approach to philanthropy. He led the Kimberly-Clark Foundation. Prior to KC, David worked at Pinterest, leading internal and external comms during the company’s transition from its founder to a new CEO.
David spent the majority of his career at The Clorox Company, where he also led external communications and the company Foundation, establishing the link between Clorox’s global social impact, company purpose and overall corporate reputation.
David also worked in marketing communications at Clorox, heading PR and social media for Clorox’s businesses and the marketing function. He also held roles as public relations counsel and integrated marketing communications lead for multiple brands under The Clorox Company.
Before joining Clorox, David spent more than 10 years at public relations and integrated marketing agencies, including Edelman and Burson-Marsteller, working on behalf of some of the world’s most recognizable brands.David holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Delaware and an MBA in Marketing from CUNY’s Bernard Baruch School of Business. He lives in Oakland, California with his wife, two cats, and a dog. He is the author of a blog on Substack called Aging Gracefully.
