First Place for Youth

Providing apartments to our participants is a cornerstone of the My First Place program model. In the competitive housing markets of California, securing safe, afforable housing is an ongoing challenge for our organization. A two-page spread in the February 2015 issue of Apartment Age gave us the opportunity to reach out to landlords and property managers in the Los Angeles area to explain the need for our program and the evidence for its success, as well as share the benefits and requirements for landlords who may be interested in leasing to FPFY participants.
