New Connections & Opportunities Were Made at the Art + Practice Job & Resource Fair!

On Thursday, July 18, First Place for Youth partnered with Art + Practice to host a fantastic Job & Resource Fair for young adults in Los Angeles. Thanks to our incredible programmatic teams, our young people were well-prepared to engage with various employers and show their readiness to take the next steps in their careers.

Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to drop off resumes, have professional headshots taken, and exchange information with prospective employers. It was inspiring to witness the determination and confidence of our young people as they navigated the fair. New connections were made and new opportunities were discovered!

Events like these highlight the importance of community and partnership in creating pathways to success for our youth. First Place for Youth has been honored to collaborate with A+P, a nonprofit organization that is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. A+P has been a pillar of support in our community, providing invaluable resources and opportunities for young people to thrive. Together, we share a vision of equipping young people with the tools they need to thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Stay tuned for more updates and events as we continue to support our young people on their journey to independent adulthood. Thank you, everyone, for making the A+P Job & Resource Fair a memorable and impactful day!
