2023 Annual Report

In 2023, First Place for Youth and our network partners in Massachusetts, New York, Mississippi, and Cincinnati served 1,660 young people. In California, 545 young adults gained housing, education, and employment coaching, as well as comprehensive case management supports through our flagship My First Place™ program.

New this year: Learn more about our updated theory of change – our first in over ten years – and the strategies, actions, and resources we plan to deploy to facilitate systems change and achieve incredible outcomes for older foster youth. Our leadership team leveraged an incredible data cache from our twenty-five year history as well as youth insight and staff experience to refresh our comprehensive plan.
