A new guaranteed income program will support former foster youth in Alameda County

First Place superstars Xochtil Larios, age 22, and First Place Board Member (and MFP alum) Darryl McDavid, age 30, helped lobby the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to approve a $2.8 million Guaranteed Income pilot program for Alameda County transition-age foster youth for two years.  The program will provide $1000/month to a cohort of 90 foster youth age 21+ starting in January 2023.
