Workplace Giving
Many companies offer a variety of programs for employees to be active in their communities. One of these is the workplace-giving program, a charitable solicitation program conducted at places of employment.
Most contributions ("gifts") are made in the form of pledges via automatic payroll deductions‹contributions are deducted from an employee’s paycheck over the course of a year. In some cases, one-time contributions are made. Some companies even offer matching-gift programs that multiply your gift.
